Tariff changes: what they are, what they mean and how you can avoid th

Changes to import tariffs on European goods – including formula – are here.

And we know you might be worried this will make your baby’s formula more expensive, or that your orders will be delayed.

Let’s be clear: you can avoid both increased costs and shipping delays when you shop with Zen Organic Formula.

What is happening with tariffs?

As of August 29th 2025, all goods imported from the EU are subject to a 15% tariff.
Because we ship from the EU, all formulas in our store are affected (even if they’re made outside the EU).
The 15% tariff applies to orders of any value. The de minimis rule that previously meant tariffs only applied to orders over $800 has been suspended.

But this doesn’t mean you’ll pay 15% more: we’re covering the cost of tariffs for some orders.

You’ll be given the option to pre-pay the 15% tariff when you order, which should mean you avoid shipping delays. This option is called DDP (Delivery Duty Paid) and is available at checkout.
If you choose not to pre-pay, you’ll need to arrange payment yourself. Your carrier will send you a payment request. This could mean your order is delayed – and we won’t be able to do anything to speed the process up.

If your order is under $125, you'll also need to pay a $9.99 shipping fee
